Michael J. Mullin
ATC, PTA, PRC

Michael is a clinically-based athletic trainer with over 30 years of experience in training and rehabilitation. He is the Owner/Clinician of Integrative Rehab Training LLC and sees clients out of a studio at his home in Cumberland Center, ME. He is an NATA Certified Athletic Trainer and a registered Physical Therapy Assistant in California.  He is on the adjunct faculty at the University of New England teaching in the Master’s Program for Athletic Training and is a Certified Clinician through the Postural Restoration Institute. Michael specializes in the treatment, rehabilitation and training of individuals and has worked with all levels of athletes.  He has provided consultation, treatment and/or presentations to NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL teams, the US Ski Team, Top Ten PGA golfers, gold medal Olympic athletes, Mike Boyle Strength & Conditioning, Cressey Sports Performance, Perform Better seminars, Stars On Ice national tour, colleges & universities, national level rugby teams as well as numerous dance studios, sports teams, fitness facilities and running clubs.

He has lectured extensively internationally and provided podcasts and webinars on topics related to sports medicine and rehabilitation,  respiratory influences and implementing into rehab and performance training, dance medicine, alpine ski training, assessment and treatment of orthopedic injuries and integrating Postural Restoration® (PRI®) concepts into rehab and training.

Michael has co-authored a book titled Comprehensive Approach to Sports Injury Management, a chapter in Knee Ligament Rehabilitation called "New Techniques in Cartilage Repair and Replacement" and published articles in multiple professional journals and mainstream publications. As a sports medicine specialist, he has been a consultant for numerous publications such as Training & Conditioning, Shape, Women's Sports & Fitness, Women's Sports Connection, Men's Fitness, Skiing, and Windsurfing magazines.

Michael works with recreational and alpine ski racers of all levels and coordinated Pre-Skiing Performance Training programs for many years as well as dry land training programs for high school alpine ski teams.  He has also developed and organized dry land training programs for both the Women's US Ski Team and the World Pro Ski Tour.

He has provided treatments and consultations to Top Ten PGA golfers, as well as physiotherapists and massage therapists on tour with the PGA. He has also been filmed by Golf Digest for an educational program for golfers and golf instructors, provided coverage for PGA Tour events, participated in the TPI training program and spent a few days at the Titleist Performance Institute in Carlsbad, CA.

Michael also works with dancers and performing artists of all levels, providing treatment and rehabilitation, educational programs, pointe screenings and event coverage for local and touring dance companies. He has lectured at the International Association of Dance Medicine and Science as well as the Performing Arts Medicine Association international conferences. He currently works closely with ballet and dance companies in the state of Maine, helping provide services for their dancers and instructors.
